#GodsPantrySC Feed the Need 2016 Campaign

We feel that none of our neighbors should have go through hunger and poverty while trying to make ends meet, unfortunately too many of our neighbors in the upstate are facing just that.

Imagine making the choice to give up tonight’s dinner so your child can eat, or as a senior citizen having to make the choice between buying medicine and food. Imagine being the out of work parent not able to provide necessities for your family because you can’t find a job, or the single parent unable to make ends meet. Imagine a grandparent having to raise your grandchildren because their parents are unable or unwilling.

These imaginings are all to real for to many of our neighbors, but you can help. It is through the generous donations of business and individuals that God’s Pantry is impacting the community.

What we are doing: With your help, God’s Pantry has been serving the upstate of SC providing emergency food assistance to our neighbors in need since 2002. In 2015 God's Pantry was the largest provider of emergency food assistance in the upstate and to date in 2016 we have served over 225,000 meals to approximately 8,000 families.

A hand up as well as a helping hand: While food is the cornerstone of what we do, many of our pantries provide additional assistance such as clothing, health screenings and assistance with resumes and job searches.

Here's how you can help:
